WC Summer Stage presents “Three Little Pigs”
Young theatre lovers are invited to a free production of “Three Little Pigs” by D.H. Thompson hosted by Weatherford College’s Summer Stage in the Alkek Fine Arts Center.
Showtimes are 11 a.m. on Saturdays, July 8 and July 15, and 2 p.m. on Sundays, July 9 and July 16.
This 40-minute, interactive show is perfect for children.
“Introducing theater to children is important because it fuels their imaginations, promotes reading, helps develop emotional intelligence, and fosters a lifelong love of the arts,” said James Brownlee, WC theatre dierctor.
The show is directed by WC students Bek Farmer and Richard Wooten with makeup and costume design by Tylie Sabbatini. Wooten is also the tech director for the play.
The cast includes Meghan Murray as Dinky, Nickoli Wooten as Stinky, Lauren Murray as Pinky, Alex McCalla as The Wolf, Mia Currie as Bingo the Magnificent and Tylie Sabbatini as Three Little Pigs Swing.
